Tourism is a labor intensive sector which has employed more than 250 millions people in 2006 around the world.

It has social, economic and environmental impacts in every country. It has enabled developing countries to eliminate poverty.

In 2005, over 842 million people travel internationally and this is expected to reach 1.6 billion by 2010 (UNWTO, 2006).

Tourism is a growing industry which has many prospects for the future.
